Grand Finals Coverage from Console Combat

CLEVELAND, August 21 - The third tournament event for Console Combat's first season has come and gone, and video coverage from the grand finals is ready for your enjoyment.  Pittsbourgh showed up again to challenge Cleveland's finest and provided us with to grand final matches between the two steel city rivals.  Columbus also brought up five of their finest to challenge Cleveland in a 5v5 head to head matchup in SSFIV:Arcade Edition.  Other video coverage includes action from Mortal Kombat and Arcana Heart 3.

Adam Fazenbaker (ShinLad) from Pittsbourgh qualified in both Mortal Kombat and Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition.  He was met by Matt Shultz (Playing To W1n) from Cleveland who qualified in both of these games as well.  Arcana Heart 3 on the other hand was kept a Cleveland affair where, Manny Patron (FreeSuper) and Bobby Wesley Cruz (The Blacktastic), two long standing players from Console Combat met head to head.  In the Cleveland versus Columbus challenge both Matt Shultz (Playing to W1n) from Cleveland and Alex Aguire(Sketch) from Columbus had strong showings, both pummeling most of their opposition.

Console Combat’s next meeting will be on September 4th, 2011.  Where we’ll return to Fox and Hound in Parma, Ohio to do battle in Marvel vs Capcom 3, Tekken 6, and Street Fighter 3: Third Strike.  If you can’t make it live, be sure to tune into the stream at ConsoleCombat.net.  Rob Khonsu (i208.net) will be on hand again to produce the same great video content.
